About Mark Cotgrave.
Mark was born and raised in Merseyside in the North of England and started his working career as a Bricklayer.
His trade allowed him to travel and sample life in different countries around the world. It was this skill-set that eventually led him to New Zealand in 2013 with his wife and two children who were aged 3 months and 22 months at the time to help with the Christchurch Re-Build.
This move has turned out to be a huge success for Mark and his family as they have become fully immersed Cantabrians and Nz citizens. They are fully committed to their local communities, particular with rugby and boxing. Mark is coming into his 7th year of coaching his son’s rugby team, while his wife Jane is on the Junior Club Committee. Mark is also a committed regular at Round 12 Boxing club in the city regularly coaching and mentoring aspiring boxers from the gym. Mark and his family are driven and passionate about Christchurch and its communities, and aims to recruit from them to improve them, from opportunities gained through stable employment and training.
